The Reynolds Family

This post is especially for Tara! Here is your monthly Reynolds fix. We have been very busy with baseball of course and do not have time for much else. We just had our annual dinner auction on April 14th and raised about $22K. The quilt pictured here sold for $1550 and is going to be framed and hung in the beach home of the Freitas family. Go figure, I notice each flaw and they think it's the best quilt I've donated so far. I am busy keeping score each game, that I don't have any pictures of Morgan playing ball and Dalton is usually umping a game on a different field so he can't help me.

This is for the Smith Family at the coast! Here, I have finally posted something new. Dalton turned 13 today, it doesn't seem possible. It's almost Spring, and that only means one thing, BASEBALL! I will have pictures soon. Kevin is coaching with the high school, Morgan's team and later in April, Dalton's team. Dalton will be umpire for some of our league games, and was asked tonight if he would like to umpire at the Central Cal State 8-year old tournament. He is going to work on getting his certification through Cal Ripkin. Last week he umpired a softball game at the elementary school and got paid $56 for less than 2 hours of work! He has decided that this is a great part-time job. I still can't believe that he is now officially a teenager!

I'm sure Tara will post several pictures of the party soon, but I have a few of my favorites from this past weekend. Morgan and Dixon were buddies the whole time! He would do things for Morgan that the rest of us had attempted and he would have no part of it. After I gave him a bath, I was trying to put his diaper on and he would not stay still for me. I asked him to lie down for Morgan, he did and then told me "don't touch"! He also sat with her to eat biscuits, gravy and oatmeal.

Here are just a few of the pictures we took in Yosemite today. We packed up for a picnic lunch and drove into the valley. Since we did not have chains, we could not take the icy road to the snow play area by Tenya. The kids were not completely deprived of snow, we stopped at Fish Camp and they got to throw a few snowballs at each other. In support of Tara and Grayson, some of the Reynolds family have also taken to bedrest! Can you tell they are related, they were both sleeping in the same position. Beware Smith family, your turn is fast approaching. Some beautiful views from the deck in Oakhurst this morning.

I decided to decorate the master bedroom this year. This is what I have done so far, I may add a few more items. Most of these items were found at the dollar store, local hardware store or already in my craft stash. Someday I will achieve my goal of a tree in every room!

We have no Thanksgiving pictures to post because I have been pretty lazy with the camera lately. I am still trying to figure out where in the yard to take our Christmas card picture. I need to do it soon or all the trees will be bare. Unlike some of the crazy shoppers in the family, we were not up at the crack of dawn on Friday! We have managed to pick up a few gifts for some of our younger up and coming readers (A Thomas the Train AquaDoodle Mat and a few infant sleepers). It's okay they can't read this and I'm sure the rest of you can keep a secret! Hopefully this week will be more productive and I will post some updated photos of the family and Christmas decorations. Oh, I almost forgot, we are still waiting for the Rat Rod arrival.
