Dixon's Birthday Party

I'm sure Tara will post several pictures of the party soon, but I have a few of my favorites from this past weekend. Morgan and Dixon were buddies the whole time! He would do things for Morgan that the rest of us had attempted and he would have no part of it. After I gave him a bath, I was trying to put his diaper on and he would not stay still for me. I asked him to lie down for Morgan, he did and then told me "don't touch"! He also sat with her to eat biscuits, gravy and oatmeal.

You guys blogged about the party before I did! I am such a slacker-mom!

Morgan has a serious future in child care, if she's interested. And Brad said he really enjoyed playing ball with Dalton, said he didn't realize how much he missed working with that age group (he used to coach our middle school team).

WHO KNEW ?

Well, you can't always trust what you see on television. I'm sure you've seen COPS on television and see them haul people off to jail for fighting and physical assault / battery. Well, it doesn't really work that way. The attacked person has to actually press charges, even if there is visual evidence such as a torn shirt, bruising to the arm, etc. They can only haul in the agressor if it is a domestic dispute or when the parties involved live under the same roof. So, needless to say, some of us were very upset to find out that there was nothing the cop was going to do other than give a "stern" warning. Obviously the agressor has also watched COPS, because when the officer began to question her regarding the incident, she denied everything and then claimed to be a diabetic having a hypoglycemic episode. You would expect that since this happened at work the employer would be responsible to take some kind of action as well. Anyways, if you have a co-worker that b...

Award Winning Cakes

Here they are, the two first place cakes that the kids made for their school carnival. The first place cakes are all put in the silent auction. Guess who bought these cakes. Yep, Dad bought them back!

MORE BASEBALL

This is our life right now! We had our annual dinner/auction on April 22nd and overall made around 20K including $725 for the SF Giants quilt. The aerial photos are courtesy of DJ and our new camera. Now we are preparing for the school carnival on the 28th. The kids have each made a cake to enter in the annual decorating contest. I will post pictures soon. Morgan made a baseball diamond for her entry (surprised?) and Dalton made a school bus. I think they will win, but then again, I'm the mom right?
