If you like music with a message and 3 days of concerts, then Spirit West Coast is the place for you. We spent last week at Laguna Seca just off the Monterey coast rocking out for 3 days. There were concerts for every age group, including Veggieland for the little kids. Most of our time was spent at the heavy rock stage with groups like Kutlass, Seventh Day Slumber, Hawk Nelson, Skillet and Thousand Foot Krutch. I was even tempted to venture into the mosh pit, but then common sense took hold and my crazy thought quickly passed. We will definitely make plans to go again next year. Mark your calendar, tickets go on sale in March 2009! Before coming home we spent some time in Monterey, visiting the aquarium and eating at Bubba Gump's. Brittany, our neice, had never been to the aquarium and it gave me the chance to experiment with my camera settings. I was able to get a few pictures without flash on a fast enough speed that are actually recognizable.
