The weather in the Central Valley was crisp and clear last night. It was perfect for photographing the lunar eclipse. We went to the fire station at Kearney Park with the telescope, camera and tripod. It was a great opportunity to play around with shutter speeds and aperture settings. The photo with the tree was taken at night without flash and the only light was behind the camera and to the left. I really need to learn how to use my camera to it's full potential.
